 TAMHA NEWS

 

The recent "Papa" Joe Smiddy Mountain Music Festival at Natural Tunnel State Park in Duffield Virginia was a wonderful evening of traditional Appalachian music. This year's event was the first in what organizers hope will be come an annual event. 

   

 

 Ralph Blizard & New Southern Ramblers was one of the featured acts at the festival along with Wayne Henderson & Friends, Janette Carter, Twin Springs Bluegrass Band, G.C. Matlock & Leisure Time.  Dr. Joe Smiddy & Reedy Creek  along with "Papa Joe" closed evening's performance.


   

Jam Sessions every Friday at Anderson Townhouse on the main street in Blountville, Tennessee from 6:30 p.m. till around 10 p.m.  Everyone is welcome to come & participate.
